Up to date, we've been able to keep our blogs fairly non-messy over here on BS, but I guess we can all look forward to doing some necessary clean-ups now that you're here to grot things a bit (LOL).

Keep on keeping on Grotty one. There's much you can do with your Blogger site. It takes a while to catch on to all the facilities, but there are plenty of people to help you out if your stuck. In some cases Blogger is a bit harder to use that BB for some things, but BS is much more flexible in my opinion. It does take a bit of effort to learn how to do some of the more exotic things, but there is an extensive help system available. For an example of what you are able to do, take a look at Elizabeth's Site to get some ideas.
DOn't get too frustrated about not finding people. They'll find you, and from there, you can follow the links on their sites to other people.

Yes, I made it here. I have not been blogging much as I have had a flat battery due to the weather. My shoulder decided to sulk. I am not sure what I did to it. I even tried to appoligize; not luck. Could have been worse. Could have been a pubic; oh, have already used that line? Bumma!

By the way, Hubby had an infected spleen. He went to the pain clinic and they are certain that is what it is. Has Hubby been to the doctors yet to confirm it? Nup.
And, today, when the crane was lifting a truss for the house's roof, it broke. Hubby ran like hell. His brother in law had hold of the guiding rope, which he held onto as he ran. Hubby yelled,
'Drop the rope!'
and they made it safely out of the way. Then the next truss broke.
Poor Hubby and my dad, plus his brother in law were spooked and all came home. They were working in the rain.

ReplyDeleteI am Alex, my dad had a nickname of Joker or jokester on the internet on bigpond internet. I got a note that was on dads office desk with nicknames from bigpond and yours at this site. I tried to leave a message on bigpond last week but had so much trouble as it kept me from giving a message and was going to give up. Dad passed away ten days ago. I know he loved chatting to people and letting them know about everything because he was an open person and taught us to be the same. He always said to treat others as you wished to be treated and always be good in heart and soul and you would be rewarded in life. Dad has been fighting stomach tumors and ulcers for a long time. A fews days after arriving here in Wisconsin, dad had complipcations and they found several tumors that were hard to remove and father didn't recover from surgery. im finding it hard to write this but dad said is open person and taught us to be the same. I miss him so much and I don't want any of his frineds wherever they are to forget the great dad he was. Miss you dad. Dad wrote lots of bigpond nicks on this piece of paper, but your name came up twice in two site you I sent it to you, hope you dont mind. thank you mister terry for your time.
mmmm, well that made me cry. I was only thinking yesterday if something happened to me I would get me daughter to contact yevisha or shaymus and say goodbye. I have left a goodbye draft. Dunno if people are gonne bother looking for passwords etc. when I'm gone. But, I think maybe they will. Anyway to Alex. Evening all,
Just organised with a great mate of mine to enjoy a week at his beachhouse at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. It's like a final treat with the kids before we fly out in the New Year. Kind of like one last splurge before we go. Checkout Movieworld and Dreamworld and Seaworld (if we can fit it in) while we are down there. So in saying that I'll close this blog tomorrow and reopen a new one at (bs) when I get settled next year.
A big thanks to the nice circle of bloggers that made it a joy to share a few laughs and personal experiences. A special thanks to Grotty for being the wonderful wacky character that she is, her loopy charm has always been a winner in my books. Hey Terry, don't hold back on them jokes, make them regular postings cos' they'll be a treat. :)))
Hope you enjoyed at least some of the jokes I've posted and the couple of Add-A-Caption comps and if they brought a smile to the dial once, well I'm happy. ;))
Since this will be my last post I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.

Meant so much and my sister loved it too. i couldnt get into dads account, I think its closed. its ok, this is heaps so thanks alot.
