Drunk and Disorderly

A new guy in town walks into a bar and notices a very large jar behind the counter, which is filled to the brim with ten-dollar bills. The man guesses there must be thousands of dollars in it and approaches the bartender to ask: "What's up with the jar?"

Bartender: "Well, you pay ten dollars and if you pass three tests, then you get all the money."

Man: "What are the three tests?"

Bartender: "Pay first. Those are the rules."

So the guy gives him the ten bucks and the bartender adds it to the jar.

Bartender: "OK, here's what you have to do. First you have to drink that whole gallon of pepper tequila - the WHOLE thing at once - AND you can't make a face while doing it. Second, there's a pit bull chained up out back with a sore tooth. You have to remove the tooth with your bare hands. Third, there is a 90-year-old woman upstairs who's never had an orgasm in her life. You gotta make things right for her."

Man: "Well, I know I've paid my ten bucks but I'm not an idiot; I won't do it. You have to be nuts to drink a gallon of tequila and get crazier from there."

Bartender: "Your call. But your money stays in the jar."

Well, as time goes on and the man drinks a few, he asks, "Wherez zat teeqeelah?"
He grabs the gallon of tequila with both hands and downs it with a big slurp. Tears are streaming down his cheeks, but he doesn't make a face. Next he staggers out back and soon all the people inside hear a huge scuffle going on. They hear barking and screams, yelps, and growling, then eventually silence.

Just when they think the man must surely be dead, he staggers back into the bar with his shirt ripped and big scratches all over his body.

"NOW," he says, "where's that woman with the sore tooth?

Someone sent this joke to me via email

One beautiful December evening Pedro and his girlfriend Rosita were
sitting by the side of the ocean.

It was a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, 'Hey, mamacita, let's doWeeweechu.

' Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!' said Rosita.

Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu.
I love you and it's the perfect time,' Pedro begged.

'But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon.' replied Rosita

* Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me.'

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, 'OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu.

Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....

'Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas,
Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.'

Our Christmas Lights

Finally, here they are. I'm not particularly happy with the quality still.

These were taken with a Riccoh g4_wide 3.2 mPx camera, with a shutter speed of 8 seconds using a tripod. This camera doesn't take very good nighttime pictures with or without flash. It's time I started thinking about buying a better camera, (maybe I should have written to Santa!) but these will have to do. Click on a Thumbnail to see the ful size photo.

You may have noticed a large orange tub outside the front porch.

This is used to water the plants in the front garden. We are on stage 3a water restrictions now in Melbourne. The tub gets it's water from another tub in the shower in the ensuite. The plants don't seem to mind a bit of soapy water!

Been a While - But the Christmas Lights Are Up

Finally got the Christmas decorations up. Took a complete day just to get all the lighting sets fully working before I put them up. I had to use the globes out of 2 sets to get the other sets working. Couldn't afford to buy new globes this year.

Some of the older sets that stay in place the whole year are starting to show their age, with the odd globe no longer lighting up, but I no longer have globes for them, and another set doesn't have replaceable globes (uses permanent LEDs).

I took photos on the first night at dusk, but they didn't come out too well. Too much camera jitter, so I'm going to take photos using a tripod as soon as I get a free night from work (definitely not working Tuesday 4th, so that'll be the night to set up for some shots).

Sorry I haven't been posting much, but I'm working 2 jobs now, so I don't have as much time as I'd like.

We're holding Lorna's 50th birthday party on Friday the 7th Dec. (her birthday falls on Thursday the 6th) at a local reception place. It's a venue we are familiar with, and like. Should be a good party. Just a few friends and relatives (who are also friends of course!).
